Monarch Butterfly

Western Monarch populations have crashed to just 1% of their original size in the 1980’s due to habitat loss and pesticide use. This population migrates to California and overwinters there; but can be found breeding in ID. One of the best way's to help Western Monarch populations is to plant native milkweed and pollinator plant species!
